Competing with teams from 164 countries, Team Bangladesh has become the champion in the first robotics competition ‘First Global Challenge’ for secondary and higher secondary students.

Global Robotics Competition Champion ‘Bangladesh’
In this regard, the team’s mentor Shams Jaber told the media, ‘The final results of the competition were announced on Saturday (October 31) at 9 pm. Team Bangladesh became the champion with 118 points. Chile came second and Algeria came third.
From 1st July to 25th September, Team Bangladesh was at the top of the points table except for one week.
In 2016, the first edition of the competition was held in the United States. The second event was held in Mexico in 2016 and the third event was held in Dubai in 2019. The contestants of Bangladesh have shown consistent success in each of them. Last year, Bangladesh was the seventh in Dubai.
The fourth edition of the First Global Challenge was held online this year due to the global coronavirus epidemic.
